Perfect as a hand soap or gentle enough to cleanse the whole body. Handmade in their soap factory in Tobermory they have created a unique, calming bar of soap. Scented beautifully with the essential oils of citrussy Bergamot & herby Clary Sage.
Bergamot essential oil has an irresistibly fresh and fruity citrus fragrance. Pressed from the peel of the bergamot orange, this popular essential oil is widely used for its uplifting effect on the mind and spirit. Just one bar of this Mull handmade soap contains the essential oil of approximately three very lucky Bergamot Oranges! The juice from these oranges tastes more bitter than grapefruit, so they are only grown for their essential oil. Bergamot adds antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to help heal small cuts and abrasions and to soothe inflamed skin.
Clary Sage essential oil is soft and sweet with a warm, nutty undertone. It adds a herbaceous fragrance to this bar and it works beautifully blended with bergamot oil in soap. Balancing for mind and body, soothing and softly sedative. Clary sage oil can help alleviate stress by inducing a sense of well-being.
